A Pot's Worth

Kiez. This is going to be short and sweet 'cause it is 11.13pm on a Monday night and I have work tomorrow. First of all, I want to say, happy new year. I certainly hope that 2009 will be a different, better year :) New year resolutions, hmm.. Currently I have two made; number one is to pass my CFA and number two is to stop cussing. I am thinking of replicating my mom's style of setting up a "cussing jar". 5 cents for every foul word that comes out from my mind, be it verbal or texting, though I should think the latter is easier to control since our keyboards come with a "backspace" function. Lol.

Secondly, I moved. I am currently living 15 mins away from my office doorstep. Though within walking distance, I have absolutely no idea how to walk to office, yet. Definitely need to explore the Raffles Place/Tanjong Pagar district one Sunday afternoon. So far, I've heard that my place is famous for its Nasi Lemak, egg tarts and muffins. Haven't eaten anything save mixed rice 'cause I am still too busy/lazy to walk beyond my lift lobby :D We like the place just fine; only that we need ant exterminator 'cause they are getting to our food before we have the chance to eat it. They are irritating us to the point of no return, I swear!

Thirdly, my first day back at work was good. Got released from my job last min, so I stuck around office running errands for managers. Failed my Basel II training like a dozen times; was stuck at the Pillar 2 module forever before I finally got everything correct ><>

Distance is a great learning tool; it helps put matters into perspective~

Basel II's fun, especially with the capital requirements killing all the banks now.

Probably worst part is that it may be replaced in the next few years and you'll have to go through it all over again lol.
